Bedrock announces appointment of Michael Liftik as Chief Legal & Governance Officer

We're pleased to announce that Michael Liftik will join Bedrock as Chief Legal & Governance Officer later this month.
Michael is one of the nation's most respected securities lawyers, with over two decades of experience at the highest levels of regulatory enforcement, investigations, litigation, and governance. His addition further strengthens Bedrock's foundation of permanence—and establishes a Bedrock presence in the Washington, D.C. region.

Nearly a decade at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC):
Served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor on Enforcement to SEC Chair Mary Jo White, counseling on regulatory policy, compliance exams, agency strategy, and enforcement.
Acting Chief of the Complex Financial Instruments Unit, overseeing 45 attorneys and experts investigating structured products, asset-backed securities, and derivatives.
Counsel to the Director of the Division of Enforcement; began his SEC career as a staff attorney in San Francisco, litigating insider trading, FCPA, accounting fraud, and complex offering cases.
